01 Scope of Services
Sun Potential 3D provides high-precision solar intelligence, including 3D-simulated reports on solar potential using LiDAR and meteorological data (PVGIS).
Availability
Currently available in Portugal and Poland, with planned expansion to France and other regions.
Technology
Reports are generated using LiDAR point cloud data, the Hay‑Davies irradiance model, and actual hourly meteorological parameters from PVGIS.
Delivery
Individual reports are delivered within 24 hours. Group projects within 48–72 hours depending on volume.
02 Payment and Invoicing
- Currency: All transactions are in Euro (EUR).
- Payment Method: Payments are made via bank transfer based on an issued invoice ("fatura").
- Terms: Services are provided on a prepayment basis. Work begins upon confirmed receipt of payment.
Invoices are issued in compliance with Portuguese tax law (Código do IVA). All issued faturas are registered with the Portuguese Tax Authority (AT).
03 Intellectual Property
Ownership
Sun Potential 3D is the author and owner of the methodology, algorithms, and report structure used to generate solar potential analyses.
Client License
Clients are granted the right to use, share with their own customers, or resell the individual reports provided as part of their purchased service.
Website Content
Users may use website content for internal professional use or for their clients. Unauthorized access to content intended for other users is strictly prohibited.
04 Liability Limitation
Important: Our analysis is based on available LiDAR data (typically updated every 2–3 years) and historical weather parameters. We do not guarantee specific future energy generation values.
- Data Accuracy: LiDAR datasets are government-sourced and reflect the state of the territory at the time of their last update. Significant changes to the built environment (new constructions, tree removal, etc.) occurring after the last survey may not be reflected.
- No Investment Guarantee: Reports are analytical tools intended to support — not replace — professional due diligence. We are not liable for business or investment decisions made by the client based on the reports.
- Liability Cap: Our maximum liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service order in question.
05 Termination of Service
- By Provider: We reserve the right to refuse service and cancel an order if we are unable to fulfill the technical requirements — for example, if LiDAR data is unavailable for the requested area.
- Notification: We will notify the client of any inability to fulfill an order within 72 hours of receiving it.
- Refund: In the event of cancellation by the provider, any prepayment received for the affected order will be fully refunded.

In the event of a dispute, consumers may contact the CNIACC — Centro Nacional de Informação e Arbitragem de Conflitos de Consumo.
07 Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Portugal. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Portugal.
